Peder Eide (I’d) has spent much of the last decade serving God and the church as a full-time national singer/songwriter and speaker. Peder ministers to over 100,000 students a year throughout all of North America at national gatherings, festivals, conferences, conventions, concerts, and churches. His love for young people fuels his ministry with the desire to encourage, challenge, and motivate people to a closer walk with Jesus Christ. Peder has 12 recording projects to his name. In conjunction with the theme of his 10th CD, TASTE AND SEE, Peder felt God calling him to a heartfelt mission to unite moms and dads and brothers and sisters in one setting where they could “TASTE WORSHIP” together. Through this exciting new ministry, families are exposed to the power of praying with and for one another. They are equipped with practical tools that will transform their lives, guiding them into a lifestyle of worship. This has proven to be wildly effective on a spiritual level, but equally fun and rewarding for families to grow in their bond together.
“I had always helped young people worship vertically, but I came to the realization that there is a missing horizontal connection they are not getting. Churches, in order to meet everyone’s needs, offer worship in different styles for different age groups. Although this is important, it can sometimes create unintentional separation between generations; teenagers in one place and adults in another. I want to help families worship. My vision is to encourage their connection with Jesus while at the same time helping them to engage with one another in worship at home, work, school, and on vacation. This is in addition to their regular Sunday worship.”

| Peder's message is one of hope and victory. Peder lost his mother in an automobile accident just prior to his freshmen year in high school and his father in a fire in the early 90's. Through these and other struggles in his life, Peder found the love of Christ and the grace of God to be the only sustaining power upon which he could rely. In return for God's goodness, Peder promised the Lord that he would dedicate his life to reaching others with the Gospel. Recently, The 700 Club TV program featured Peder's music and testimony for it's 7 million plus viewers.
"My goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to students through music, audience participation, and my example. I want to build them up and encourage them in their faith, and let them know that they are loved and valuable. I don't want them to feel just an emotional high, but I want to challenge them to make a commitment that strengthens their faith and gives them the confidence to keep on living a Christ centered life."
Peder’s music has been featured on over 300 plus radio stations and has appeared on TV programs such as At Home Live, Live From Studio B and Cornerstone’s Focus 4.
Peder has played main stage at festivals such as Sonshine (MN), Kingdom Bound (NY), Spirit Song (OH), Unity Fest (MI), Lifest (WI), Spirit Fest Midwest (MN), Power of One (WI) and Spirit West Coast (CA). He has shared the stage with artists such as Third Day, Newsboys, Rebecca St. James, Audio Adrenaline, Geoff Moore, Lost and Found, and speakers, the late Mike Yaconelli, Tony Campolo, Efrem Smith, Laurie Polich, Lori Salierno, Bob Stromberg, Mark Matlock, Paul Hill, Duffy Robbins, the late Dave Busby, Bob Lenz, Dr.Rollie Martinson, Tom Tufts, Curt Cloninger, Jay Laffoon, Bart Campolo, Jeff Klein, and David Edwards.
Groups such as the ELCA Youth Ministry Network, Youth Unlimited, Navigators, Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Celebrate Ministries, Youth Encounter, and other national gatherings have welcomed Peder as part of their event as well as a wide variety of Christian denominations.
Prior to his music and speaking ministry, Peder served as a full-time Youth Director for three years and also coached Varsity High School Football for five years. As an active artist/spokesperson for Compassion International, Peder is humbled to have seen hundreds of third world children sponsored through his ministry. He has also experienced the joy of his own family sponsoring many children.
Peder, along with his wonderful wife Sherri, have further invested in the needs children by internationally adopting two beautiful kids of their own, Makenzie and Teshome. Combined with their three biological treasures Taylor, Allison, and Ethan, the Eide’s have uniquely tasted worship together and have truly seen the goodness of the Lord.
While the window of opportunity may be running out on his dreams of the PGA tour, you might find Peder keeping hope alive out on a golf course near you. Otherwise, much of his spare time is spent dating his wife, coaching his kids’ sports teams, going on field trips, or just getting tackled and tickled on the living room floor during an intense game of “carpet monster” (it is 5 kids against one dad). God is good… All the time!
